This was a lovely old Victorian house that was a bit run down. The floors were the original heart of pine floors, but were scuffed and worn, and had a dark stain, which made the place seem dark. We stripped the floors and refinished them with a lighter color stain to brighten the place up, and repainted the walls for an updated, clean look.
